Sorry, long time I don't use this tool, first you must write the name of the tool, so these are the commands you must write:

cd.. cd.. cd samples samplesmaker > samplesmakerall small (or medium or large)

Hmmm, really strange, I have done to test I was right and I got them, maybe Windows Me works different

ok i figured out how to make em 1 at a time (which is good enuff) altho i havent tested them, to see if they work. but it made a sample :) i used this command: samplesmaker size(i used medium) nameofstandardmesh outputnameofsample and it produced 1 sample for that mesh, hopefully it workes , ill report if it does! thx for your help :) WOOT! they work!!.... it works .......YAaaaaaaa! i now have some nice new objectlightmaps for my map

hmm, I couldn't get either methods to work. it kept saying cannot open "log_1.sm"

put both samplemaker files and the standardmeshes in a folder named samples. in root dir c: then type this cd.. then type this samplesmaker medium nameofstandardmesh.rs nameofmesh.sample like that, it must include the .ext i have yet to find a mesh that isnt medium size, but if unsure extract a lightmap sample of the object from another map and check its size out. 512x512 is medium
