A mate of mine (Boesbart) didn´t finalise his Juno Beach map intime for the mapping contest. Still its a good and balanced map and sure is fun to play. Anyway, I thought it would be a shame not to release it since it is a quality map. All I need is someone to host some webspace for people to download it. If you wish to continue developing the map, please ask Boesbart for permishion before you do. His ICQ is: 132-634-274 You can now download the map here: http://www.bf42.de/?module=filebase&type=file&ref_id=510&file=b03f4321e14d8ce7e1f60913495b0c2e/0/ o0qscreenshot4.jpg

From the map this looks like one of the custom D-Day maps made for the previous FH release. Does that mean that this map is just an updated version?

I have no idea why the "out of bounds area" is white. I think it used to be red for a while, but he must have messed with it.

Overview of the landing area.

Landing boat comming up towards the beach. Check out the random artillery explosions.

The beach itself.

The town streets are narrow and heavily defended.

Looking down at the beach again.

The village ends, but the battle continues...

h6lscreenshot7.jpg

The windmill is another heavily defended position.

t6qscreenshot8.jpg

The germans last stand (uncappable). Later it was planned to replace the bunkers with a trenchsystem similar to Berlin Outskirts. But he never got round to it...

Again, this is a good map and you may be alowed to continue it if you ask him for permishion.
