" We did however stumble on a big problem. The battlecraft list file can only include 512 objects, and because FH has added so much we had to cross the line. But battlecraft does not work properly with such a big list and we have therefore chosen to use 2 seperate lists. One list containing all objects from the original Battlefield1942 (which is already included in Battlcraft) and our list containing only the new objects added by the FH team. Großadmiral Dönitz has tested this principle and it works, but you might have some problems getting some objects which are not on the list to be displayed. This is our way of making this problem as less of an inconviniece as possible."

As said in your FAQ to the question about Lst and cfg files. i may notice that the 1st list stops at 'ruins' and that the second list probably fills in the rest. my question is, where do i find this secod list?

the first lst file comes with BC, the second lst is the FH lst. take the leap and use ed42, if you care to hear my opinion. There is alot more freedom in it, you dont have to worry about editing or finding .lst files, you can learn to edit more precisely and with some practice you will find that your maps will turn out better in the end. did you know that bc has a 2048 object maximum? that means that you will only ever be able to place that number of objects in your map. Ed42 does not have that problem. also, ed42 does not edit your RFA's directly, doesnt automatically change data in init.con's or any of those sorts of things.

no but i mean, the in-editor list when u want to select an object is split in 2 parts, because mine stops at the part 'ruins' and in the FH .lst it goes on... and what exactly does differ BC with ed42? im not familiar with that one...

I'm using the cfg and lst files provided by this FH0.7Bcfiles download, and I can't get the damn thing to work. The line I need to adjust is already set for my game path, and everytime I start up BC, erase the newly created mod for FH, start the new "fh" mod, choose the fh.lst files config with regular Battlefield 1942 game path, I get no list of objects or meshes or anything because BC screws with the fh.cfg file because it has too many files. what can I do?

You can open both of the files with notepad, and search for the directories ourself. After setting them up they way they should be, start up bc42, erase the FH mod, and create it again (with proper name ofcourse), now it should work.

I have organized the file directories to be the way they should be, but I am still unable to do anything. When I create the new mod, configure it to fh.lst, and then proceed to the next step, I get the error message "The objects list 'fh.lst' contains more than 576 entries. The rest will be truncated." twice. And when I open up the mod to create my own map, there are no cached objects or textures or anything. The BC keeps changing my fh.cfg file to Battlefield 1942 settings and its driving me nuts.
