Tonight, I decided to take my father's WWII Pacific Theater photo album apart and digitize the images. I have around 200 photos from this album. Some of which may be of interest to the FH Mod Team when they begin work on the Pacific Maps (hopefully soon, as you may suspect, it's my favorite part of the Mod).
I would be happy to donate pics from the album to the Mod Team for stock photography for the intro screens. I have pics of Tanks, B-25's, Corsairs, Battalions, Platoons, individual soldiers, dead enemy troops, jeeps, etc. that have never been published.
I am offering these only to official Mod Team Developers, for free, in support of FH.
To the Mod Team, once you start work on the Pacific Maps, feel free to email me for access to the images.

Are these original images taken by your father then? Or are they ones he's just collected? It sounds great though! Any color pics?
Be sure to contact Lobo via PM or mail. His contact details can be found here:

Sounds interesting, I'm sure that FH devs will be happy to see them. It'll do some good for the maps realism.
They're photos taken by my deceased father. I own all of the rights to the images. They're typical snap shots, non-professional images. Some are very good, one in particular could have been a front-page image for Time/Life showing a peasant doing wood work in a hooch.
I posted here so that all of the Mod Dev folks know that I have them. I'd rather not contact someone directly as I don't want to make it seem like I am trying to scam someone, etc. out of something.
If you folks speak to "the powers that be", let them know, have them contact me. Once I verify they're the "real deal" and directly associated with the FH Dev Team, I'll give them access.

Like I said, I am going to allow the FH Mod Dev team to see the images before anyone else does, with the exception of the guys in my clan/community.
Once the Dev guys have had a look, picked over the ones they want to use, I will release the non-used pics to the rest of the world without letting out the pics used by the Dev guys. That way, folks will be seeing some of the imagery for the first time with the release of the new Pacific maps.
This way, it gives those interested something more to look forward to :-)
So, if the Dev guys are interested, they should contact me prior to the release of the Pacific Theater maps and I'll happily give them access to the images.
Not trying to be difficult, I just think it adds a bit of flavor to the release of the maps.

I like your idea but I think you may have a long wait though... :) I presume that the devs will at least want to get the African theatre reasonably meaty before moving onto foreign climes.

Very cool of you to plan on making them publicly available at some point. I love it when people share original material.
Lobo and the rest of the Dev Team now have access to the images. Looks like around 175-190 total, when I finish uploading them tomorrow. I just uploaded an additional 80 or so, 30 of which are of equipment such as tanks, jeeps, trucks, planes, bombers (b17 and b25) and more personnel.
Hopefully, they'll be something in there that will be of use to FH2.
