Well, Cretan Village seems to be going wrong and I don't know how or why. Ideally I would like it very much if an experienced mapper/coder could take a look at the map and see what's going wrong as I have no idea... The problem is this person would have to be a dev/beta tester as I am using stuff from the new internal versions although this is only the Australians so I could remove them if need be to make it compatible with v0.67... Please don't reply to this post unless you are offering to test! Thanks very much :) Cheers!

is the problem your StaticObjects.con? the duplication thing? it should say the total number of objects, compare this to an older version. see if its fully doubled. or maybe its just certain objects, like trees for instance.

to fix this, open with wordpad, take a coordinant from the FIRST object. and use the find feature in wordpad, enter that number, to find where the list starts the second time. highlight and delete all after that. it will have your objects listed twice, beginning to end, beginning to end. hope this helps. if not, i will be happy to take a look. if its only certain objects duplicated, it will be harder to weed them out, im afraid. you may need to concider starting over.

The strange thing is I opened the map up in Ed42 to see if the objects were actually duplicated but they were fine. I packed up the map again and tested it in-game and it worked fine. I tested it again today on co-op and the duplication was back (as well as one of the African tree types losing a collision mesh...) The problem is they are duplicated but not in exactly the same place - see the pic on "More Cretan Village problems..." Could this still be a problem with the StaticObjects.con?

doesnt sound like a staticObjects.con problem, if its only in coop and sp.

Yeah, it's only in co-op that this happens. Also pressing esc to quit to the menu causes a CTD but only in co-op...

ok, do a "file by file" comparison of your SP files, against those of another working maps SP files. and see if you can find differences. you may see what they have, and you dont maybe? or errors in your files vs theirs.
