There's no official St. Mere Eglise map but there might be a fan made map(which won't get a lot of server coverage). If you are going to make one for FH1 on the battlefield 1942 engine I would strongly advise against it since FH2 will be coming out soon. So here's a great site for the BF2 and 2142 editors complete with all the links that you could possibly need.
Is there a St Mere Eglise map? One thing would be for me to make one i have experience with R2R and COD... but if some1 could save me some trouble and send a link it would be great... PS: I just DL this mod yesterday...
There is no Ste Mere Eglise map as far as I know. And if someone decides to create it, I can only hope he realizes which parachute infantry division faught there and what was so interesting in the battle. Way we saw it in CoD could be replaced for any other town on Cotentin.
I made a little more realistic version for COD wasn't all that popular... FH2??? ok i just did some reading up on FH2 and it would seem that it only covers the Africa campaign at the moment... if i did have a try, I would make it for FH"1" because i know nothing of BF2, my crappy graphics card can't run it... :( and if i made it for FH1 it wouldn't take so long before you could play it... if you play R2R try and DL the short hill documents there a good read... same said for the level! :)

If you make one, please,PLEASE, don't make the big error of putting US 101 division skin in! St mere eglise was an 82nd objective! just pointing his out, because most people seem to show greater interest in the 101 than in the 82...
And by the way, FH2's release doesnt affect it. The first release will be about Africa, not europe, i don't think you will be able to do much which an african St mere eglise...
You can still prepare the heightmap and plan the layout/gather documents. Also static objects and vehicles get produced pretty quickly by the dev team if nececary, and I'm sure they will focus on Europe after the first release. Only thing I'm afraid we'll have to wait for a bit longer are the parachute infantry models.

dday_ste_mere_eglise.rfa is in the Bf42 Infantry Mod... with 20-40 hours of fixing it could easily be edited to FH42
Here are two other Eglise maps:
chances are on of those three is good enough to be ported over to FH... allthough its not likely anyone will in these days when people seem to hibernate themselves before FH2 comes.....

Just for that matter, would require good planning to hold the small buildings group before the main town part.
Its cupnoodles not cuponoodles

Oh, Natty. You are just too kind on the person who did that map. I think to get that map into better shape you would have to spend at least a week or two, plus who knows how much driving time... because you will, of course, need to drive to the map maker's house and slap him... actually, I think that Xww2 did St Mere alright... even modeled the church... I cant recall if I have ever played it though.
