Probably everyone who's tested BF2 editor a bit more has noticed that there are about ~20 different kind of trees. Most of them don't look good when mixed (asian trees mixed with palm trees etc.) or they don't look as "european" trees so they can't really be used in european maps... IIRC, bf1942 did have more trees, but not much.

So, are there any plans for the dev team to make more trees for mappers to use?

If you think that all the future maps in FH2 have only around 5-10 different tree models, they will look boring and you can't make a good enviroment by mixing all the current trees in bf2.

Hmm... looking at the screenshots of Point of Existence they seem to have got a nice autumn theme going on - they're the vanilla BF2 trees aren't they? Leopard2_2.jpg

Indeed they are, but we need something more, don't you think? They look a little exotic as for the Europe.

That's right, these trees are good, but we need viaerty in Forgotten Hope 2 to provide specific atmosphere fore every countrie. Ofcourse there are birtches in Poland and some other, but also there are many specific kinds that surely cannot be found in Italy or central France.

Yes defiantly variants, but remember in a certain season the trees are mostly the same. It must still create this atmosphere as stated above.
