Remember it's not hard to convert the heightmaps from FH1 to FH2 :) You can finish the maps for FH2 :)
To be honest, although sometimes hegihtmap might be hard to get looking right, still it's not the longest part. Besides Bf42 was allowing only one type of grid size and three sizes of levels. In Bf2 situation is different, allowing you to create different sized maps with different level of terrain detail (more or less squares). Therefore it is realy worth it to compleately rebuild heighmaps, unless for higher detail settings to get better final effect and make real use of those additional 'polys'.
Knoffhoff, that ground texture is kind of hypnotic. It makes it hard to distinguish how high above the ground you are. Secret AA weapon? Make the pilots crash because they don't know their altitude. :lol: Anyway, it's a pity with all these cool maps that never made it ingame. Let them be a silent reminder of FH's greatness. Now we march on towards FH2 with bigger, better and juicier maps! :)
