The actor, who appeared in hits like Gilda, The Big Heat and Midway, was found dead by paramedics. His health had been failing for some time. Born in Canada, Ford moved to California as a child and joined Columbia Pictures in 1939. During a 53-year Hollywood career, he featured in more than 100 films from romance to comedy, often portraying the tough, introspective hero. Early in his career, Ford turned out a film every five days from Columbia Pictures' B-unit. Service in the Marines during World War II interrupted his fledgling career, but only briefly. One of my favorite old time stars, and a fixture in most of the classic ww2 war films from that era. I will miss him, he was a great actor. R.I.P. Mr. Ford

We could say he's the third. 1st. Steve Irwin (I'm still depressed about that, I don't think I'll be over it for a long time.) That One other Guy, I think he was a Racecar Driver or something, Spazy posted a Memorial for him in GD And Finally, Glenn Ford. (Why am I here? I don't even play the game. Your "Off-Topic" forum is interesting.)
