Fuzzy Bunny;3826715Wait..I just realized that Anlushac said something about "joy" and "Indianapolis" in the same sentence.

That's an oxymoron. Add a couple of hundred B-17s, loaded, with open bomb bay doors into the equation, and you have one of the few things that could possibly ever put joy into that place.

*runs*

Not too much argument there. Probably one of the better things that could happen here.

The Indy 500 owners have been in talks with FIA which does F1 but I'm still hoping for a 12 hour endurance race with GTP and GT class cars.

Just make sure to do it when Im not at home, I could sue the Insurance money from "Accidental carpet bombing"

Market niche! We'll make MILLIONS.

All we need now is to convince someone to carpet bomb something, and homeowners would flock to us. Muhaha.

They would just claim "Force Majeure" or something like that, most insurance policies do not cover "war or warlike circumstances" I think.

zuiquan1;38254573 C-130's passed over my house at about 500 ft a while ago.....made my entire week as I'm obsessed with those babies :naughty:

I am right the flight path for our international airport which happens to have a miltiary base. Every other day 4-6 c-130's fly over on their approach 1 after another, shakes the whole house.

As well it should be!!! Provided it is being used in its historically correct theater of war. And Im not even caring if it is just a kit anymore. I just want to be able to drop an ass load of bombs!!!

You ain't lived till you've had a Spitfire, Lancaster and a Hurricane fly low, directly over you, in the middle of nowhere when your 12. Man that was awesome.

Saw a Lancaster, IIRC it was Canadian at the Dayton Air Show a number of years back. It does purr a mighty thunder.

There was also a P-51D there that did some flying. It was pretty awesome as well.

Now this I would kill to attend. Supposed to be oever 100 Mustangs there and also a P-63 Kingcobra. As odd as it sounds I am as much excited by the P-63 as I would be to see Mustangs.

When I was young, I went with my father and grandpop to Plymouth to see the planes. There were SBD's, 51's, a 17, a 24, and I think a Sopwith Camel.

Check this out. All this talk of air shows and I looked into a regular WWII event about 40 miles west of me. Sadly I forgot the date. Again. I think I even posted something last year bout missing it. OK so they found a special plane in New Guinea and are restoring it. Goddammit, I want one! Devs, please put this one in the back of your head when the Pacific comes to the table. I will love you long time. MAAM's P-61 Recovery and Restoration Project - The Widow's Web Make sure you check out the recovery section. wreck_700.jpg
