Im not scared to admit it tonight that I cryed when Edmonton lost. I let the tears flow. No one understands how much this city wanted the cup. 16 years we waited to come up just shy of victory and exticy to this city. This city is hockey crazy and would give their left nut for the Oilers to win. I wanted it so bad and so did the rest of Edmonton. The cane fans can not turly understand how much people wanted to bring the cup home to canada

I love how the Edmonton fans CBC was interviewing last night said that Edmonton is the home of the Stanley Cup. Now I'm no Habs fan but I would have to say Montreal is the home of the cup, undisputed.

Anyhow, I had this weird gut feeling this was going to happen. I was worried we'd see a replay of what Calgary did the year before and it came true. What is it with canadian hockey teams and the curse for our own damn cup these days. :(

Mr.Panzerschrekand you are from ontario?

Yeah, why do you ask? Just because I said Montreal is the home of the cup? They've won the cup the most times of any franchise, don't you think it seems fitting?

I'm curious though, can you elaborate more on what you meant by saying that. Am I supposed to be a leafs fan? Honestly I kinda of like Detroit considering I'm from Windsor and Detroit is about 5 minutes away. I've fallen out of following hockey though over the years and so I'm not really loyal to any team.

Anyhow, enlighten me on what you meant about your comment.
