So I saw him today, and shook his hand! It was such a good day, got up at 6:30 to do it though. I don't know if you guys support him or not, but he is a damn good speaker, even throws in jokes that aren't corny haha.
Here are some pictures I took of the event, it was on my campus:
This is the insanely long line all the way through campus, only 3500 could get in, and there were so many that got turned down.
In the auditorium where he was speaking.
Getting into his speech.
Yeah I was that close.
(I know it's not needed, as this thread was made after the hoopla. But I thought it would be funny)
Wait a minute. Weren't you a Ron Paul guy?
He Changed. edit: Change!
Wow, that's a cool experience, no matter what party you are supporting. I would love to have the opportunity to go to a candidate's rally, even if I'm not really supporting Obama.
I like ron paul as a man, but i've been Obama since the beginning.
Why did I always think you were Canadian? :Puzzled:
Way to not be able to read. I know we generally disowned him, but still.
Why did I always think you were Canadian?
Me too...Coincidence? Or something more sinister...?
I find I don't generally like Obama. Despite his good talking (and I have to admit, he is good) his actual suggestions are a bit fuzzy - it's all about dreams, not plans, and I think that's just not good enough.
