Yep, BF1918's final release for BF1942 is out, I believe. I've already downloaded it, but oddly enough it seems they removed the menu and load screen music. Anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? I'm redownloading it in order to reinstall it to see if it was a bad download or something.

I've got their Airshow2 for BF2 - just tested it alone and some of their models are very nice...

Awesome--are there actually any full games? Want to know if it's worth the download. Someone care to post a critique/review?

Awesome, going to download it straight away when I return home. And to answers Fuzzy's question, no these are mods.

Wish I could play it, love this mod. Glad to see they're still going along.

They have three maps, 3-4 different airplanes for each side , one or two armoured cars for each side and aa guns. It's pretty fun to play, but in my opinion will be pretty boring after a couple of hours.

No, you munchkin, I meant "are there any full servers"? Every time I've ever checked the mod's page, their own server has been empty.

I guess I'll give it a try regardless.

That's the reason I'm not downloading their BF42 version - there never seemed to be servers with a decent number of people. It's a great shame as it's such an excellent mod. I love their trench warfare maps.

The BF2 demo is litterally just that - a demo. As Knoffhoff said 3 maps (2 are modded vanilla BF2 ones), 3 planes per side (fighter, single-seat bomber, 2-seat bomber), 1 armoured car and a (very nice) AA gun. There are also some new statics - tents, observation balloons (as flags) and airships. Because of this limited content I guess it could get boring after a while (haven't played online yet). All the models (except the ones with glitchy normal maps) look so nice in BF2 - the shadows on the planes cast by the struts and wires just add so much to the realism of the models.

You should be able to find servers to play the BF2 version online. Yesterday I was playing with 30 people.
