A long time ago I saw a mod called Battlefield 1936,also Lobo was on the team.It had a lot of stuff, but only unfinished models. Last time I glanced the site,it was said the mod was going to BF2.Today,the site(s) that it was hosted are gone, like if all the content was deleted. ¿Qué pasa?

I think they stole models from other mods and were forced into submission, can anybody back up this claim?

I know little about the Spanish Civil War other than I would have had a hard time pulling for either side. But I do think the Heinkel 51 biplanes would be a hoot to fly, as would the fat-nosed "Ratas".

No, they didn't steal models.

The BF1936 mod is dead and buried, long time ago

Yeah, it's unfortunate. It seems to me that FH2 and BF Pirates 2 will have been the only mods for BF2 to come out that I was interested in.

I especially am disappointed in BF1918-2's disappearance.

Ah, jumjum, you would love it! I suggest reading The Battle for Spain: The Spanish Civil War 1937-1939 by Antony Beevor and for a first person account, Homage To Catalonia by George Orwell.:)

It is too bad, Spanih civil war is fairly interesting, I mean 600000 dead for one country, is quite a bit of deaths, plus it was a proving ground for WWII style combat. Russians Vs. Germans on foreign soil, fairly entertaining, doncha think?

Yeah, that sucks. But I wasn´t having big hopes.Nobody likes WWI (maybe because there wasn´t cool weapons,or it wasn´t goreful enough,or for not having USA in most of the war,or maybe simply because people hate the royalty),if the mod was released,it was going to be a failure for the servers... Also,Echoes of Glory seems to be no more.
