Nothing official, but a pacific only game? Not a good idea imo.
I dont believe it.
But, if they did it, why wouldnt it be a good idea?... Pacific front is still what most people consider bf42's strongest theatre, no other game deliver that kind of gameplay wih carriers, subs, planes, battleships, detroyers, cruisers etc etc....
If they decide to do it, they will make sure they do it good, so its a great idea IMO.
I would be thrilled if not the fact of it being BC sequel which means console only.... I want PC goodness!
I seriously want DICE to remake BF1942 on Frost-bite, It would be absolutely awesome.

Ah we are talking about the www.battlefield1943.com thing, not about BF:BC2 which has been officially announced. :)
After BF2 disaster ( gameplay + engine wise ) i doubt i would buy any battlefield or DICE/EA game again, only thing ever worth buying the series for is mods as i only played vanilla BFV of all of them, but im sure they wont even try to advertise this as being easy modable + great mod support from them to get more sales, only works once.

Damn! I missread... again. :(
Not quite sure what DICE are trying to achieve with this one. Pacific Theatre, on a console(s) with the Frostbite engine - whilst working on Bad Company 2 in tandem?
They are either trying to challenge the success of World at War (which if I recall correctly, is doing very well on Live) or chime in to The Pacific.
Perhaps I am bitter that DICE seems to have completely removed itself from the PC market. I'm not sold by Heroes, either.
I'd be interested if it was on PC, and since my 360 recently RRoD'ed I doubt I'll be after it.
Still, would be nice to see how WWII on the Frostbite engine turns out.
Isn't BF1943 and BF:BC2 two different games? One on PC and the other on console.
Argh not the Pacific. Theres too much about that theatre on this moment :(
