Remember the lost MacKenzie brother who built a suit of armor so he could go off and pet grizzleys with out dying? Yeah. He built armor for the infantry. His influnces? Star Wars and Halo. And it still has bear spray. http://www.hamiltonspectator.com/media_archive/jan-11-2007_a.html

"Want to drop a bear and stop 40 people instantly?"

I want one.

I'd love to see that thing repel off a RPG grenade though.

Interesting suit. Would have been better if they showed a weapons test on it to see if it really works.

Well a guy I know who was in Afghanistan told me of a story. Some guy was ontop of the humvee in the gunner seat and got shot directly in the stomach with an rpg. It didn't blow up it just got stuck in his stomach. He survived and he also said they pulled coins out of his body for a while. See kevlar aint so bad :o

If it's lightweight, bullet proof, air conditioned etc... I don't see how it's such a bad idea. If I went to war and had the choice between a bulletproof robocop suit that doesn't weight 300 pounds and nothing, bullletproof robocop suit it is. Oh and hey, maybe it can't stop an RPG, but the men on the field right now can't either.

Its a bad idea cuz we'll spend so much money on the making the suit that there'll be no money left for weapons.

Then we can use some nice 'cardboard glocks', or replicas, they look the shit, and they are loud too :D
