OK... this is from over at planet battlefield. FOr those of use here who dont go to the BFV forums the new 1.1 patch is out. Guess I need to take my glass of water off my cd and stop using it as a coaster. almost forgot this part... Yup, the wait is finally over my Battlefield friends. Say hello to the Battlefield: Vietnam 1.1 patch! This latest patch packs a lot of goodness for us all. Including a new map, new vehicles, bug fixes, tweaks, new menu GUI and plenty of more good stuff. So, waste no time and start downloading!

It seems to me like BFV deosn't really capture the essense of the Vietnam War like EoD did. Eod has many obscure maps that take lace in non-specific locations, life "Stream" and "Closefire". The whole "big army vs. big army" in BFV doesn't really capture the feeling of chaos and small unit action like EoD did. EoD made it more personal.
