PlanetBattlefield has news and screens of the second BF2 add-on, Armored Fury: http://planetbattlefield.gamespy.com/fullstory.php?id=33443

The 3 new maps are set on American soil!! Finally! They also seem to be adding vehicles that many of the modern warfare mods have already added (A10, for example)...

Operation Midnight Sun: The conflict spreads near the Pacific Ocean in a key battle for the Alaskan port of Valdez, where Chinese forces are attempting to secure much-needed fuel from the pipeline. Operation Harvest: The MEC army begins their march East towards the U.S. Capital, and American forces must stall the advance long enough for reinforcements to arrive. Operation Road Rage: The MEC forces have infiltrated deep into the USA, and are using the highways to move quickly towards key industrial sites that are dangerously near civilian areas.

All the screenshots show American forces either blowing up, or just about to blow up, the invading forces... funny that.

Another attempt to make easy money IMO, The first addon at least contained some goodies, but this and the booster pack add nothing you really need.

FH2 will contain more than all addons together, for no money.

So all of the sudden enemy forces pop up in the middle of the U.S.? Why do EA games have endings but never beginnings?

Yeah right, talebans invading america... The China attacking Alaska is slightly more realistic, but really for MEC forces (using entirely foreign manufactured weapons, how can you wage such a total war without your own weapon production facilities?) to manage to land an army near D.C., you'd need the most incompetant US military staff ever. I'm not the kind of guy to praise america's 1337ness, but something VERY serious would have to happen for this to be a realistic scenario, especially since BF2 is in the VERY near future (I wouldn't say this couldn't happen in, say, 50 years, but this is just SO stupid).

Of course the interesting thing is that its probably one of the first wargame of the genre to be played in america. It would be nice to have a french army liberate Washington ;)

Are you of french origin, your beeing a candian (if you even life in the east) makes it look like ;)

At least, they will add ultra-mega-awesome stuff that had on DC and DCExtended like the Hind,Apache(no,Special Forces..) F117? B-2?* F-22?* RAH Commanche?* F-14,F-16,Harrier,Sea King(that big chopper of DC that is at the american carrier),Mirage,Sukhoi Frogfoot, that "Littlebird".... * hardly may be added.... BTW,did the F-22,the B-2 and the Commanche saw action on Iraq or other war? Or they was never "used"?
