Click on the "can you run it?" button and the thing will tell you if you can play BF2.

I can say with certainty that if you want to run it at any more than medium settings with a decent frame rate you will need to upgrade...fuck, why do I succumb to posting in these threads?

N1GHTM4R3;3717110hey plz help me here! i want bf2 for fh2!!1[/quote] OK Settle down, we still dont have a release date for FH2 so no need to spam for help. You are going to buy BF2 no matter what, yes? Go buy it, install it, see how it runs. You can expect FH2 to hit your PC harder then vanilla BF2, how much??? I dont know. If it runs shittay, you know that you will have to lower your settings. Still crappy? Time to either A. Upgrade your existing, or B, buy a new rig. There are alot of gear heads in this forum so if you need to upgrade you will find help here. Just go buy it and see how it runs. If it sucks, then we'll talk hardware. For now, its pointless cause we dont know how it behaves, but the outlook is not good!!! I saw a 4200+(dual core version[socket939, I think]) with 1 GB of R.A.M. and 250GB HD for CAN$540 so now, thanks to Bush, that'd be probably US$500(complete guess).

well while you needed to spend 1300 US dollar 3 years ago to play BF2 on max settings , right now its only a few hundred.... let me list the most important stuff

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103031 $55

MSI AM2 nforce 500 mainboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130063 $57

Radeon X1650PRO 256MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161037 $82

A-DATA 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211064 $43

$237 upgrade and you will play BF2 just fine
