'[tRMad Mac']I just played it, I think its horrible. Its the same old thing, over and over again. Look! The enemy is over behind that mound/wall/fence, and we are here behind our cart/truck/ditch! One team fire at them! Other team, come with me on the flank! (which is always unguarded) Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Its not tactical, and its too easy (even on authentic difficulty). Every situation is and plays out exactly the same, but in a different location.

In case you didnt know, this is what real combat like. Anyway, the game is way too short. I beat it in one night. I do like the iron sights and the lack of cross-hairs. Hope the Battlefield 2 will use similar ones

Real opponents arent dumb enough to leave their flank unguarded EVERY time. One of the principle concepts of organized combat since the dawn of warfare is to keep the enemy in front of you. However, every single engagement in BIA allows you have a clear path all the way to the enemy, they (safe paths) arent even hard to find. Once you get to the enemy, its like shooting fish in a barrel. Also, the game repeatedly mistakes vehicle names (its a stug, not a panzer), allows for the player to carry 2 primary weapons along with having an endless supply of explosive to blow anything up, and many other rediculous game aspects considering its the "most realistic WW2 shooter" to date. I look at the ratings the game got, and am scratching my head. On a positive note, EVERY game should have iron sites like BIA. I love them. And to the people disgruntled about accuracy- real guns arent 100% reliable. You wont always hit the mark you aim at, especially if in a real combat situation. The pixel-perfect accuracy games such as CS and UT have accustomed you to are only fantasy.
