So Lately I hear rumors about The United states atacking Iran If they wont stop making progress in the making of the A-bom. Maybe Bush is trying to finish this of before of the end of his carier as a President. If been watching some photos and pictures from Iran weapons. Seems to be quiet modern! I doubt that Bush would actually attack. how manny man strong is the Iranian army anyways? What do you guys think? I think bush is definitely trying to squeeze more oil out of his last moments as president... He would definetely attack, but congress might not...

Anyway, the iranian army is way stronger and way better prepared than the iraqi army, so they would already start losing many men in early fase, not to mention guerilla war afterwards will be alot stronger.

there are some rumors that this may be the true reasons for the aggresions towards the iran. german link

well if its true i think he will attack, an fully idenpendent iran with own nuclear power plants and a oil stock with another currency then the $ would undermine Bushs current oil "politic".

if its not true... and iran is realy trying to get their own nuclear bombs... i guess he wouldnt attack... there are already so many countrys with these bombs that another one wouldnt count. And if the iran want a bomb... why dont they buy em on the blackmarket...

As i said... i think they are more afraid of a economic strong, antikapitalistic, near eastern country with great influence to the region, than a bomb building iran.

and come one i heard the us are complaining about iran weapons and "terrorists" which are shipped to the irak... the iran conflict is old... and if there would have been such a support of the iran... why they release their news now.... and not earlyer ? We all know how good the bush administration is in inventing evidence. And what a word of these man is worth.

thx god the next puppet is moving in... :cya:

just my 2 cents

Actaully, I wish the US would pull out and leave Iran/Iraq/Kotar/et al alone. Just because the president of Iran says they will become a nuclear power and they don't care who is against it (including the UN) why should the US care? He's probably lying, more bad, intelligence, blah, blah blah. And that thing about terroists over there training to disrupt most of the non-muslim world - poppycock I say! You can't believe anybody these days anymore (well except for Al Gore.) Europe is closer to all that so if there are any affects (other than muslims trying to take over European cultures) then they will feel the burnt of that affect first. They can handle it just fine. I'm not even sure why Bush has his armies/air force over in Europe anyways. What a warmongering posture that all is!! Thank God for an ocean! In all honesty without above sarcasm, Israel will probably take care of Iran's nuclear problem.

Israel can't even beat Hezzbollah as we saw last summer. The problem is Guerrila warfare. A modern army hasnt found a way to defeat one. If you can find the money you can stop it, but there are always zealots. If a country was willing to step up to the US and go toe to toe with unifoms, it would be an epic slaughter. Our multi-layered warfare approach would cut down armies in no time, see Iraq, 1991. Once it folds down to guerrila, we cant finish it. We know what it takes but I dont think the US would stomach it. And occupation, no matter how bad we may have effed up a muslim country, would not be accepted. The last time we faced an enemy that would be willing to go extict rather then anything else was Japan, I think we had a pretty good turnaround there! If we can figure out a way to make a "Japan", and have a country prosper, maybe then they would realize there is something to lose.

It couldnt have anything to do with the leader of iran being an unstable madman that has repeated over & over that he will nuke israel the first chance he gets. NAhhhhh,,, couldnt be that. No conspiracy theories in that for peeps the throw around, just cold hard facts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FckLO8HcNyo&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djKZVoPvFSI&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw2HnjSQWSs&mode=related&search=

Bush is not going to attack Iran at all. If he attacked Iran instead of Iraq, then public opinion/worl opinion would have actually favored it more. It seems as if European countries at least agree that Iran is a problem and won't be bustin the US's balls as they did of the Iraq war if we attack Iran.

America, Western Society, and Israel don't want to be "wiped off the map" as a certain Iranian president has promised. If Bush doesn't neutralize the nuclear installations, then the Israelis will, something has to be done about Iran, the token sanctions surely won't work. Diplomacy, once again, has been given every reasonable benefit of the doubt. Three Gulf nations (Qatar, Oman and the UAE) know the threat a nuclear weaponized Iran poses and will even grant Israel flyover access if worse comes to worse. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/830309.html Of course, it also possible that the Iranian population that is largely comprised of disillusioned citizens against the Mullahs, will revolt, perhaps the the best-case scenario for all. The madmen leading Iran believe in bringing on an Apocalyptic holocaust to the infidels, believing it will conjure up the so-called 'Mahdi' or Twelth Imam. Oh and this assumption that Western armies can't defeat guerillas is false (the US subjugated Muslim guerilla uprisings in the Philippines back in the early 1900s, much like they must in the ME nowadays)); that is unless polichickens dictate handicaps to the ability to win. And yes, WMDs were found in Iraq, perhaps not to the extent that was expected, but nonetheless, materials you wouldn't want to used against humans, or store in your backyard. http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/Iraq_WMD_Declassified.pdf
