So yeah, read the gaming news here. What do you guys think? I personnaly think "FUCK YEAH!" Call of Duty 2 was my first multiplayer game for PC and which basicily kicked off my gaming online. Now I mean it's not the most realistic game and by that, carring a rifle and a machine gun with about a crate supply of goods, but from the details it suggests this promises to be alot darker and if they can bring out the darkness of WW2 I would be very thankful. What I wish they'd do is give you a cut scene walking into a concentration camp or something. I mean it's pointless to gameplay but I think it would 'add' to the whole 'Oh my God' feeling, walk around and see the prisioners as they beg for food and water. But anyway, I hope they might make this game a little bit more intouch with history and not movie styled. But I can't wait to fight in Berlin as a Russian (I wish they'd do a German singleplayer :() and actually shoot through weak walls and objects with a machine gun. Oh and they better bring back tank battles if it's gonna focus on the Russian invasion. Jungle fighting better include Burma, my grandad fought in it. But I think the Jap thing is only focusing on yankies...
SOunds decent, cod4 was fun.
COD4 was great but I just found it odd that the SAS captain was infact the same guy from your platoon in COD2 in Africa :p.
That picture though on the link you gave us is weird. It looks like the guys gun has an laser sight on it, maybe I'm wrong.
Mas stylie por favor...

Correct me if Im wrong but how can they use the COD4 engine if it was created by (Infinity Ward, I think???) I know they swap developers...
Well, most 'CoD-maniacs' like myself who own most games in the series conclude that Price in 4 is the son of Price in 2 (not 1, Price was retconned in 2) - it's plausible that if he had a son in his 50s (man like Price would get his end away no matter how old he was) Price could be the plausible 50s he is in COD4. There's also the possibility of him being a grandchild, or indeed very similar Nephew - notice their voices are significantly different.
This looks great, I knew about the Pacific but it's good to hear about the Battle for Berlin - I do hope the Brits get a look in in Burma, too - so far it's been in no games, except maybe Commandos or Hidden and Dangerous. And of course the FHT mod. But I somehow doubt it - the Yank 12-year-old market would rather play the Doolittle raid 800 times than pick up an Owen or Sten in the jungle.
Well as they said, I believe they are getting different teams to work on different things, but I'm not sure if it's different team companies, that be kind of silly.

That's Price from CoD4. No pics of CoD5 exist yet.

They both work for Activision, remember - I would expect some top bod just says 'hey IW, it's your franchise, don't let Treyarch fuck it up anymore, give them your engine', which I expect they needed little encouraging to do.
Thought it was cod 4 meadow, as for burma, I sure hope so. But MOH:Rising Sun had Burma in it just FYI, but you know it's MOH so yeah.
