I wish they would make it so that there are no Boundries and you can go where you want. I also wish that they would not always put you right into the action always. Every game you play they always throw you right into the action. I want a game that changes somthing up. I would like it if they made you go on patrols and you did not know when you were going to be attacked or from where. It would always be diffrent. you can open a map and choose a bunch of diffrent towns and citys that you can clear. you can go house by house and somtimes there might be guys in it but you dont know. That would be awsome.

That sounds a lot like the Combat Flight Simulator III campaign (in the CFSIII campaign, you can actually lose the war :x ).

However, I don't think that a Captain or Lieutenant would have a choice of where they were attacking. It is an interesting concept though.

It'd be nice if they showed gameplay. That was no more impressive than their CoD2 commercials...

NighthawkAtleast Treyarch us making it so it won't be nearly as bad as CoD2. For those who don't know Treyarch made Big Red One which, though it looks shitty, is better then CoD2(believe it or not Big Red One has vichy France in it.) Gray Matter made CoD:UO, the best game in the series, and is now part of Treyarch.

I beg to differ. Big Red One gave the "impression" of including Vichy France. Wearing a Kepi or Adrian M26 helmet does not automatically equal historical accuracy. Stukas? "What the heck" was the first impression I got from seeing that. The Vichyites were not given stukas, and there weren't any Luftwaffe in the Torch landings. A hanomag? What the...? The Germans DIDN'T resupply the Vichyites! Vichy or not, the Germans considered the French in general an enemy throughout the war and never trusted them, let alone trust them with their own supplies. That's one of the reason that the Vichyites were hopeless against the Allies. The Vichy North African Army only fought (somewhat randomly) for three days before surrendering and switching to the Allied side as the French Corps (to be combined with/under Free France in August 1943, though both French "sections" fought in the Tunisian Campaign). Anyway, even the French weapons included were wrong. If I remember correctly, a huge portion of the Vichy troops in Big Red One received MAS 38 submachine guns. That's ridiculous. The MAS 38 only went into full production (started in 1939) in 1940, by which time it was too late to supply all of their troops. The Army of North Africa got VERY few MAS 38s (or any submachine guns for that matter) before the fall of France. When France was conquered, the Germans took over the MAS plant(s) and appropriated most of the MAS 38s (which they liked) for their own troops, sparing only a few for Vichy (which gave most to the mainland Vichy Army, which ironically was disbanded by the Germans, who took back the weapons, following the North African Army's switch to Allies three days after Torch). So basically, the MAS 38 could realistically be given to maybe one or two of the Vichy soldiers in Big Red One; not all of them.

USMA2010...EA HAS TAKEN OVER THE CoD SERIES! Can't they be a bit more creative? Hell, at this point I'd rather play a game about Korea than Normandy. Make something about the Russians, other than bloody Stalingrad and Bagration. Perhaps something in 1940, about the Battle of France. But for the love of God, I've had enough of landing on Omaha and jumping behind Utah! If only Saving Private Ryan was never made. It would be so worth it to have stopped that movie from being made...

AMEN TO THAT! Unfortunatley for us(the gaming community) the game developing big wigs (EA/Activision) don't listen to us, three things run through there mind: 1.) Money 2.) More Money 3.) Pron (or Even more money) Thank your stars that the FH creators DO listen, while they may not be a game developers as such, they none the less listen to your feedback and then implement into there development of the mod, EA and Activision on the other hand orders a board meeting and asks 'Yes' men to give there opinions, which by there most recent releases of games is they have magpie/blackbird/raven syndrome, this being make everything nice and pretty (the graphics) and know one will notice the glitches and crap gameplay. Forgotten Hope Team, we (well, I for one) owe you a debt of gratitude for saving our (or my) gaming sanity, Cheers:beer:

I would say that this video is from game but it doesn't look that much impressive in comparation to some other 'next-generation' graphic engines. Unreal 3 is definately better, I realy doubt that they would be able to create compleately new engine in such small period of time. As for those all special events. I belive these are in game, slow time when someone dies is not a problem, also the walking and gun sway animations. And the final fight might be powered by simple algorithm wich is examining collisions and then choosing one of already prepared mele fight animations. If it is realy done like this, it will look impressive... for very short time... then you'll start to miss simple gun bashing.

RCAF, you will like Opeartion Flashpoint, belvie me, it's not a ww2, but check it out yourself, you won't regreat it.

I compleately agree with USMA2010 and DerMann!

Bah, so this is going to be for the consoles ( teh suck ), and they are making a COD Modern War for the PC ( teh suck more )..

Does this mean I shouldn't bother myself with sending one letter a week towards Infinitywards about a Polish Campaign in the upcoming COD game ? :(
