Ok there is this Canadian forces poster down at the armouries where I'm always at for band and my friend and I noticed this tank on here seems...out of place.

Now...are we crazy..or is that a German WW2 Panther (though it looks almost a tad modern) on the left?? You tell me! Cause its been bugging us for awhile.

No idea, but on a side note, the new commercials for the Canadian Army are amazingly well made.

The turret looks a lot like an JS2 or T-34/85

Looks like it could be a Panther to me. And I have to agree the poster looks like they merged 10 different poster designs into one and then had a 1337 photoshop monkey press some buttons and do a ton of crappy brushes to create "artistic" effects. But then that might be on purpose to look like a crappy filled promo poster for a computer game...

*runs for his life*
I'm sorry Netherlands. Oh yes the "mighty" dutch army with their combat radios which have a built in red lights district button for those lonely weekends at the barracks or if they want to hear someone speaking dirty while in Iraq/Afghanistan. *grabs his nuts*

I guess that's how they get the youngsters to join, eh! How much for this game with the panthers on it? *slick recruiter walks up* Absolutely free:naughty:, now we'll just need you to sign on the doted ligns so that we own your soul for a few years and it could possibly be sent to heaven or hell or lay in limbo depending on what you beleive. Would you like a receipt with that?
imo they have tried to do something with a chronoly in the background. from ww2 to nowadays

you mean chronology? right? Then wouldn't they have put in a sherman/churchill or other allied tank?...and had the panther burning in the background? I'm sure they weren't trying to do that and instead they just have some idiot doing their posters.
