Demo is out and does not require CoD to play, it' s a level in Bastogne, you can shoot from the Jeep and then defend a village from a german counter attack, sounds nice...

What an awesome demo! i loved every second of it on Veteran difficulty.I have ordered the game anyway so i'll be playing it till Forgotten Hope arrives on scene.

How awesome are the deployable machine guns? it felt so unlike COD, i also hear the multiplayer mode has several usuable vehicles such as

jeeps Halftracks Machineguns Anti tank guns Tanks

Is it just me or does Quake III engine need to go away and stay away? I mean, it was good in it's time, but this game just plays and more importantly, FEELS lame. I'm not usually the pessimistic poster or "troll" that bashes games and other things people enjoy, but there's just something about Call of Duty's weaknesses that irk me and has made me feel so inclined to speak on the matter. If this game came out 2 years ago alongside Medal of Honor, I would probably consider it a great game. But the gameplay, graphics and sounds are all mediocre in my opinion. The voice acting is way too over-the-top and it feels like WWII ARCADE, as opposed to a historic WWII simulation. But hey, the game won many people over. I downloaded it, installed it, played it for 2 minutes and uninstalled it. I'll wait for Brothers in Arms and hope for the best.

The game in general is boring. But the deployable MGs are awesome, and the G43 is so sweet. Just wish the levels weren't layed out in such retarded ways.

I noticed a nice feature in MP, when you jump in a vehicle that originally belonged to the enemy side it takes some time before you can actuallly use it, you get a meter saying "Capturing vehicle..." and you hear the engine being fired up and dying down a couple of times. Really nice touch, let's hope Dice puts this in BF2.
