Anyone who owns a copy of red Orchestra this is probably old news to you - but today I found the Darkest Hour mod for this game.
OMG >< Sphincter clenching normandy landings, very atmospehric. Damn shame about all those keys! 9/10
FH2 will still be the daddy, but I will definatley be tinkering around this fantastic game.
Played it, didnt like it. The quality of everything is so much lower than original RO. Some examples: The weapon animations while sprinting look ridiculous, tank sights are all blurry and you cant adjust the distance, weapon textures are way worse than in RO, etc, etc. I love the theatre, but I couldnt be convinced so far. Maybe a later patch will change that
Havent tried DH, or RO for that matter, seems like a good game + mod, but havent played so dont know for sure, btw iirc there was another thread about DH, I could be wrong though
No, you are not wrong.. theres a lot of threads about this mod.. looks good but i dont like it / i cant play it

Ah ok, btw what are your thoughts on RO and its mods, is it worth getting

RO is definitely worth the money, the mod; as i said you could argue about that
If you are a WW2 fanatic is worthy, it's not expensive. I don't enjoy it, but that's another story
No no, i really like RO, i think its the most realistic game ever.. but steam doesnt let me buy it.. i dont wanna spend a Visa or something like that on the RO..
I got my copy of RO from PC world - not sure where you are located torenico, but you can get it on disk. Mine cost £14 and that was about a year ago
