You old farts never like change of any kind, do you? =p

jumjum;4831592Except that, unfortunately, we live our lives by the clock, not the sun. And when our clocks tell us the morning after we've lost an hour that it's 7:00 am, our bodies know it's only 6:00 am. And our bodies don't like it a bit. At least this one doesn't.

Well this body usually gets 4-5 hours of sleep per night due to being in college, so getting 7 hours instead of 8 that night still felt pretty good.

Hint: The amount of daylight hours in a day is controlled by the wobble of the earth on its axis. We have more hours of daylight in summer because our hemisphere is tilted closer to the sun, which is why we have summer in the first place.

That's not wobble.

Except that, unfortunately, we live our lives by the clock, not the sun. And when our clocks tell us the morning after we've lost an hour that it's 7:00 am, our bodies know it's only 6:00 am. And our bodies don't like it a bit. At least this one doesn't.

Agreed. THe guy who pays you doesn't care that you're on time by the sun, if you're late by the clock, you're late.

DST is yet one more reason for me to move to Arizona, where they did away with such nonsense.
