Since it seems to be hot to post your pictures of a ww2 related trip nowadays, i'll share some pics with you from my visit to the "Musée nationale d'histoire militarie" in Diekirch. I went there last spring break (it was still f*ing cold though), and if you ever have the chance to visit it, do it. It's one of the best museums concerning the Battle of the Bulge. It gives a nice overview of the battle, without losing interest in the smaller, more personal details. http://www.nat-military-museum.lu/ For starters,a m4a3 (?) Sherman in Bastogne. sl550047ew4.th.jpg And an "easy-eight" in front of the museum. No, that's not a boner, that vest is too wide. It would've been justified though ;)sl550082vx9.th.jpg Bofors 40 mm sl550101rj9.th.jpg A diorama depicting the famous crossing of the river Sûre sl550109fu1.th.jpg A nice collection of German helmets sl550099fb1.th.jpg A Pak 40 sl550108jb9.th.jpg I wonder why he's looking so happy ;) sl550126kz9.th.jpg A very nice RSO <3 Not so nice picture though :( sl550085jz4.th.jpg German rifles, the top one is a gewehr 98 and the 2nd one a kar98a, no? sl550124li5.th.jpg And now for some more American gear: sl550100bl5.th.jpg Do i see an Enfield 1917? :naughty: Johannès? sl550120nx5.th.jpg And to end a M29 Weasel with the rarely seen "Mickey Mouse" camouflage. sl550111md0.th.jpg There you go :)

I don't think i showed an AT rifle? Here's one of WW1 vintage though : sl550119jr9.th.jpg You can't really tell by the pic, but that thing was huge! It was at least 1.5 m long and the pistol grip was as thick as my arm, and last time i checked i didn't have girly arms ;) Also note that the but doesn't have rubber padding, nor does this weapon have a recoil brake. Nobody wanted to man this gun since you could easily break your shoulder by firing it.
