Although I mostly play FPS and strategy games I am less than ten minutes away from hopefully playing EQII and I can't wait. I still have quite a bit of experience with RPGs though starting with text based "MMO"RPGs on the internet with my friends and ending in disaster with the horrible SWG.

I am quite excited about EQII, obviously since I have it on the first day of release :) , and can't wait to check it out. Especially if it is a fraction as good as the forums say it will be.

I dont have the funds to buy it yet but plan to. I had a 42nd lvl Ranger in the original Everquest but quit after the group I playe with broke up. EQ2 seems like it could be even better with voice chat.

My Fiancee and I played EQ for a while Both high Elf Paladins with Epics on the FV Server. Shes getting EQ2 tommorow but the requirements for that game are a bit over the top. Also Im hearing a few horror storys from the America about the FPS lag, guys with top end computers having to turn their settings to the lowest and still lagging badly.

I personally am gonna give WoW a try when it comes out.
