Demo is out now and is downloadable from Filefronts Demo downloads section.

Seems like it picks up after the end of the first game and ignores the expansion.

Graphics are better and the scary scenes are still present, the developers haven't lost their touch on that part.

But oh how many times has the demo's fooled us? I can count a few occassions, but yeah, I will get this game. I absolutely loved the first F.E.A.R (I skipped expansion) and cant wait to play this second game. :)

Yes I am excited for this game, I am a big fan of this series, The story really goes deep, lots of characters who have many different roles and all are important in some way shape or form, and its all topped off by this heavy sense of mystery, and your longing to see Alma in person.

Not to mention the games are scary as hell. Hopefully the break-up of the two companies producing it didn't hurt the content too much, and this one will tie up the loose cliff hanger left by the Last Expansion pack. I can't wait to see what ultimately happens in the end, This is one of my most anticipated games of the next few years, the only way I could be more excited about a game release was if Valve announced Half Life 2: Episode 3 release date, or Half Life 3.

I found F.E.A.R to be mere childs play compared to Bioshock. Bioshock can at times be more scary, and the gameplay/graphics are stunning. F.E.A.R on the other hand seemed repetative to me.

But, with that said I think I'll give F.E.A.R 2 a chance.

FEAR is in my top three favorite shooters I have ever played.

The other two being the Half Life series and Farcry.

I remember when I played the last F.E.A.R...

It started out really creepy, and had some very light, easy combat inbetween the creepy parts. But then all the sudden there wouldn't be any creepy parts for awhile.. it would just turn into ramboism. That got me confused, and sorta turned me off.

I wasnt like you, I loved the games story, so during the combat I would fight on in hopes of seeing what happened next, and I also looked around for easter eggs, theres lots of them in the game, and if you take time to look around fear has little scares hear and there in the combat to keep you interested.

The story is what drives me on this one, I want the game not cause of the combat or the multiplayer, but I have to know what happens next! Just like Half Life 2 had a massive cliff hanger, and I can't wait for more news on the series.

The story in FEAR was awesome and as mentioned I want to progress the story.

I thought the combat was good, especially trying to take out those pesky invisible ninja like guys.
