Come on guys, how cultured are you all? :D :p (not including military band music)

Depending on the mood I'm in mine are: Dvořák's Symphony No.9 "From the New World" Carl Orff's Carmina Burana

Holst The Planets (especially Mars, the Bringer of War). Adagio for Strings is a stirring piece also.

Anything by Wagner.

Ach, good choice on Dvorak Cheese! I like it too :)

From chopin I like only several pices like Etiuda revolucyjna, Polonez D-moll and Funeral March (I can play it on a piano - when we had a raw with your neighbours I used to play it everyday for about half an hour - I bet they had a gloomy atmosphere at home then  )

I also like Mozart, Grieg, Beethoven, Vivaldi, ahh too much to wite, as I like most of the classical music, It's too hard for me to choose the most favorite ones :p

Most of all I like Beethoven, Chopin, Dvorak and Wagner, but there are different pieces from other composers which are great as well (Bizet, Tchaikowsky, Shostakovich, Boccherini, Händel, Bach, Mozart, Liszt, Strauss).

Some of my favourite pieces are: 5th, 7th and 9th Symphony by Beethoven, 9th Symphony by Dvorak, some of the scherzos, etudes, mazurki and waltzes by Chopin, several piano sonatas by Beethoven (Pathetique, Moonlight, Storm, Wallenstein) and different pieces from Ring der Nibelungen by Wagner (grail theme from Lohengrin, Siegfried's death, overture of the flying dutchman, ride of the Valykiries etc.).
