If you have BF2 look at the mimimum requirements look at what is recommended, then double that up I would suggest.

MG42ManiacMy guess to run it maxed with AF and AA with good performance: CPU: AMD64 3400+ or P4 3.4GHZ RAM: 2GB PC3200+ Video Card: Geforce 7800 GTX or ATI 520 you might get away with a 6800 ultra or X850 if the FH devs are nice ;) Sound Card: Audigy 2 ZS It sounds really high but by the time FH2 is in its 2nd or third relase and they start to really push the engine the prices of those pieces of hardware listed above will be alot lower.

In order to run BF2 smoothly with high textures you need 2gb of ram, ignore what everyone else "thinks" regarding high textures thats a fact.

All those requirements are nothing more than unaccurate presumptions. Full developement of FH2 has not even begun yet, so it is impossible to tell what it will be like exactly. But the devs are very careful not to use any more polygons or texture resolution than is nessecairy. So hopefully it will run just as good on your PC as BF2.

My guess was based on the fact that BF2 already has high system requirements and with BF1942 FH pushed the specs right up and I thought they would do the same with BF2, but your posts seems to suggest otherwise.

They will just loose those people that are playing BF2 at lowest settings with sometimes even lag, if they want to push the engine, the will have some rich people playing it.

its true though to make fh2 look as really good they will have to push the specs. i have played a fh map with alot of vegitation and i mean there were green bushes and trees everywhere like a jungle. it would lag on my system which is imo very good.i may need a cpu upgrade though (specs are below)

better overclock your CPU if you got a good cooling to about 2.8-3.0 that will be enough I think. And you can overclock your graficcard too. But there are also people playing BF2 with 2ghz pentium and 1gb of ram with a radeon 9800pro or something like that, I don't think they will like to see FH2 looks like Far Cry 2.
