Only Battle of the Bulge right now. Its the only "real" mod that changes the theme of the original game.

At my usual online shop they don't sell the original CoH. Only Opposing Fronts.

You can get both from Steam.

I don't really like Steam. I want to touch the games I buy, you know? I only bought 2 online games; expansion for BF2 and Red Orchestra 2 on Steam. The Euro Force expansion on EA store was a big scam. After I got a new PC I couldn't retrieve the download. Bye 10 euros :p I only bought RO2 because it seemed fun and on June 6 it was so cheap. Like 1 euro. I'll keep an eye open in the game shops here. If I buy an CoH, it's the original. I guess thats around 20/25 euros? The Opposing Fronts one is a bit too expensive for a game I have never played. And with online shop I meant online order shop, sorry for any confusion. I order and they deliver.

Sire_Apple;4775830I can't figure out if this game is worth it.

Some people say it sucks, and say gameplay is horrible. While others say its great.

Oh.. what to do...

It is totally worth it. Opposed to other popular rts games this one actually has the s of rts. You don't order blobs of units around and point them to enemy blobs. Each and every unit (squad) has to be directed for them to do their jobs. Emgee teams actually do what you'd expect them to do, they suppress enemy infantry, making them move slowly or not at all. Mortars can be used to destroy dominating Mg42s but they can also be used to decimate the suppressed infantry or deploy smoke to allow for an advance.

You'll find multiplayer a lot more dynamic and exciting than that of say.. c&c 3 where "cover" doesnt matter and flanking is irrelevant.

Theres a better feature, in games like Rise of Nations or C&C, a single Soldier can destroy a Tank whit machineguns, in CoH, you will need, AT Grenades, Panzerfaust, AT Cannons (Pak40 i think) and other Tanks.

You must do different tactics from different tanks, never face the Front of the Panther, the Tiger its easy to destroy whit the 17 Punder etc..
