Pasquill;3659783Overlord?
NO! overlord was the bigger picture. [quote=Pasquill] I got a question. give me 2 reasons why modern militarys use red lighting?

red light does not disturb normal night vision for the eye. astronomers use it while stargazing and the wavelength does not travel very far. Alot of US east coast shore towns used red lights at night during WWII

He said two reasons. The second reason is so all the sailors know where to go for whores. Only applies to certain parts of the military.

Next one, and DON'T LOOK THIS UP. What is the origin of "Kilroy was here"? The phrase and the picture, please. Yes, there is a verified story behind both. If you do look it up, please be honest and don't post.

That's this graffiti, in case you've been living behind the moon. kilroy1.jpg

Kilory was an inspector at a Naval Yard in.. somewhere down south, I forget. But he made that mark on all the boats he inspected.

didn't it have to do with the marines corp and once they were "done" with an area they write kilroy was here because it'd be like a robot went through and killed everything...
