What u thought was an April fools joke turned out to be the truth, not only that Warfront is joining in to. So look out Forgotten Hope! U´ve got some heavy competition coming ur way :naughty: (dont worry about me im FH 4 Life :p) Quote: "Dear Community,

Well well, I bet you all thought our merge announcement was just an April Fools joke. Well the jokes on you, it`s for real! You may need to sit down for this next part folks, so don`t say we didn`t warn you. Not only are BG and FL merging, Warfront will be joining us as well! Yes you read this correctly, Battlegroup2, Frontlines, and Warfront will all be working under the same name. The idea to merge was first proposed in January and soon after the teams started the first discussions. We have had many discussions over the past few months, and we`ve come to an arrangement everyone thinks will benefit us and the mod community.

Now you may ask what scenario we are going to develop at first. Battlegroup2 and Warfront started to develop an Eastern-front-scenario, while Frontlines started to do a Normandy-scenario. We decided to primarily continue working on the Eastern-front-scenario, but we won´t stop working on the Normandy-scenario, which means that soon after the release of the Eastern-front-scenario we will be able to provide you a second scenario, which will be Normandy." link: http://www.flmod.com/index.php?section=news&langu=2&PHPSESSID=jdfh7ku4vo2tufag5kgktfogb6

WOW, that's going to be a serious contender for FH2. With such a huge team they will definitely have the first release out long before FH2. I wonder what will the gameplay be like in terms of realism. Battlegroup had that stupid vanilla style gameplay whereas Frontlines was supposed to be ultra-realistic like Red Orchestra and Warfront was somewhere between them. Sounds like they won't mix together very well.

It was clear it was not an april fools joke. Personally I think is a wise move of those mod teams. Frontlines never told publicly wich kind of gameplay they were leading for, I think they will have not problem to work together.

Frontlines said they were gogin for mod more realistic than Fh. its just weriod to think because BG is a vanilla game with added vehicles which is great but no sense in realism other to Warfront which stated before some what in the middle of real and vanilla style game play. i cant wait for what comes out to be.

Dude that would be the ultimate mod of mods. Nothing in a million years could beat that.

You know the saying, "Too many cooks spoil the broth"? I'm not against it on principle, but in practice it's a disaster unless the parties know, trust and understand each other very well, AND share a common vision about all important aspects of the mod, its "philosophy" and its future.
