Well, then, all is forgiven. The rest of the world (at least that part that thinks about 50-year-old-music) thinks The Who did "Summertime Blues" first. If Eddie had lived, the world may have never heard of Pete Townshend. Or maybe even Eric Clapton. Who knows what would have happened to "guitar rock" if Cochran hadn't died at 21.
