I'm making a diorama with a flak 38 and some other stuff, but since i hade no crew for the flak, i modified those frome other characters. They look quite convincing, but i don't know how their clothes should look like. The diorama is set in Russia in the summer of 1943, in Kursk. Are the uniforms of flak crew plain green or do they have flektarn like the Wehrmacht or are they feldgrau, ... I have no idea, and google doesn't provide any good information on this. Can anybody help me?

Hey im new, But was "lurking" for some time, and thought i help you out.. I have a picture here from a 2 cm flak at the "Battle of Kursk, July 1943" It shows a bit of their clothing, i hope you can use it.

Stauffie, is there something funny about the "SS"? Does it look 'shopped to you? It's almost too clear, but I don't know why anyone would bother to make it an SS vehicle - for what purpose? McNugget, is the photo from an SS pub? Maybe it was "enhanced" at the time for publciity purposes,

Nah, I think the SS is original - it's very similar to the "...070" in weight and brightness.

weren't alot of flak units Luftwaffe? I think these would have worn a gray sort of tunic.

That's what i thought too, but then again, the flak crew that was sitting in a horch model i have was supposed to be painted in wehrmacht colors, but those are not manning the gun, so i got all confused.
