They all cost more than 220 euros though, which for you will (as i said) get the x800 gt2, able to be pushed up to the speed of the 850 XT!

MG42ManiacTop 5 best Graphics Card available now.

1. ATI Radeon X1800 XT 2. NVIDIA 7800GTX 3. NVIDIA 7800GT / ATI Radeon X1800 XL 4. ATI Radeon X850 XTPE 5. ATI Radeon X800 XTPE

I disagree,

from what I've heard, even the 6800GT is better than the 7800GT (that could also explain why the 6800GT is more expensive than the 7800GT -both PCIe-)

I can't see how thats possible in all the benchmarks I have seen the 7800gt beats the 6800gt by a fair bit.

well, I once found some benchmarks showing that the 7800GT only beats the 6800GT (by a few fps) at a resolution of 1600x1200 (medium and high settings) forgot for which game though :(

No, thats not true (ok maybe in one game), wait ill scan for some Benchmarks: Ok only found one with 7800 GT and X850 XT (but this owns the 68' gt) 7800gt X850 XT doom 3(1280x1024) 104,8 77,7 d3(1600x1200 4xFSAA/8xAF) 47,5 36 Far Cry(1280x1024) 83 80,9 FC(1600x1200 HDR) 36,1 - (no HDR*) And so on, the 7800 GT owns everything except the GTX and maybe the new Radeon X1800 series. I will get more infos on that tomorrow.

If the person only has $200 or 200 euros, it doesnt matter if the card is 220, or 420, he doesnt have enough money.

Why are you guys even bringing up 6800's 7800's and X850's, and X1800's?

HE HAS $200 TO SPEND. Try thinking within the budget.

Right, thats why i suggest the x800 gt2, it costed 220$ on release (some weeks ago) so it should be available for 200$ now. Its overclockability and the pipeline freement (supported by the producer!) push it up to the x850 XT!
