Maybe that demonstrates stupidity more than a bias against women drivers...?

I wish that's what happened, at least then we could stop hearing about it.

It's probably impossible to do that in New Zealand, I can't think of any time when 3000 people are gathered in one space (apart from rugby...and who would do such a cruel thing?)

Yeah, my point is, I don't think it's bias - they really are worse drivers on average.

It could be. Maybe someone should do a study on it sometime.

stylie;4278812Whooooooah... Coke! You need to clarify that man.
I'm sorry and I don't want thousands of kiwis dying in terrorist attacks but honestly the whole issue of 9/11 being mentioned all the time makes me sick. To me, it symbolizes Americans' belief that their lives are worth more than the rest and that because of such an attack they can attack and invade any country they so desire and all of the left-wing shit; most importantly though it's used as a device when the families who, for the most part, would rather forget about it. That was a very knee-jerk comment, sorry.
Yeah, my point is, I don't think it's bias - they really are worse drivers on average.

From my limited experience, it would seem so as well. My mom tailgates like you wouldn't believe and when you say so she gets so defensive about it as well, my dad however is a much better driver and just today as he was gauging the traffic as he always does, at a more frequent interval than my mother I might add, he notices a car nearly hit a cross-walk which pinches in on the road. He slows down and this car goes to the right about to turn...but then shoots back out into the middle of the road crashing into my dad's car had he not slowed down. The car turned on the road that were taking and lone behold it's an Asian women. It has to be said as well that race can play into this since you see a lot more accidents in Richmond, mostly Asian, than in south Surrey, White/Indian. :P

Also, it been mentioned before but while driving, women will turn to look at someone while talking while men sure as hell won't. That can skew people's beliefs. :P

jumjum;4279101Women drivers bit.

Completely agree, they also have a tendency to ride others asses. Also... This may sound a little racist but I assure you it is harmless. There is also one unalienable truth out there... Asians... I love you. Long time in fact. You have given us many wonderful gifts like Fireworks... noodles... kung fu... racing girls... but YOU GOTTA SPEED UP ON THE GOLF COURSE!!!! Oh my god! Its amazing!!! Ive never seen an exception to this rule!!!

Recognizing cultural idiosyncrasies is not "racism" - it's merely noticing what is going on around you.
