At least 3 dead, dozens injured after car crashes into German crowd Elder man drives into crowd of a shooting club, 3 people die and many wounded. Very similar to what happened on Queens Day in the Netherlands only they think this man had a heart attack and therefore crashed into the crowd. I say, Grey Dawn.

That's not the weirdest catastrophe in Germany last week:

Ugh, that blows. Wasn't there a 250+ car pile-up on the autobahn this week too? Hey you guys, yes you in your Eutopias over there... Have you figured out a way to get old people back to the DMV (or whatever you call drivers testing) to get them tested as they get old? We have not figured this out. Politicians are too afraid of losing their votes. And old people regularly mistake the brake pedal for the gas pedal, you know the rest. Primarily it's up to the family though, they need to know when to take the keys away, but that would mean they'd have to drive them around... cant have that can we?

Ah yes, the house that almost sunk away, 3 people missing right? It sunk because of large water streams getting into mines near it cause of the bad weather. Real shit situation if you live there.. And Stylie, we got it quite alright here. Don't exactly know how it's put together but once in a while your (as elderly person) forced to see a doctor and get yourself checked. I think it's from age 70 to as long as you can keep it. Once you fail the doctors test they take your license away.

Ehm no. Something like that happens once in 30 years.

The Earth sinking away was really bad luck for that town, they lived close to an old surface mine that was flooded and somehow the water seems to have formed a cavity and then it gave way.

Ah, I am jealous of the autobahn, where driving adults are treated as adults - "If you think you can handle it, then by all means let it rip. But if you screw somebody up because you are driving more car than you can safely handle, were taking you to jail."

That's the way it should be. But it's hard to imagine being able to drive 100mph (or 160kmh) on US interstates, where in many stretches there can be 50 cars, perhaps more, to every mile of two lanes of concrete or asphalt which look like a quilt they're so full of patch jobs. So I'm jealous of fun, fun, fun on the autobahn

So true Jum, at least one thing to be proud of and one thing where my tax money gives me a direct and fun feedback (besides when I go to hospital or university ^^). This evening for example I'm going back home to my GF and I need for the 520km roughtly 4h. That's an average of about 90mph ... oh the joys of ruining the environment. ^^

What do you mean? Here if you screw someone up because you're driving your more faster than you can handle, we take you to jail, autobahn or not. That's not being adult, that's just being a hazard for everyone else.

If you think American roads are bad, Australian ones are worse.
