This stuff is going to happen alot, in all countries currently with troops involved in the Middle East, here in the states, people can't seem to understand that the soldiers have nothing to do with Bush, and that they are not responsible, Id imagine in other countries, that the people feel as if their soldiers are Pro-American "cause", and receive flak for it.

Its sad no matter what country you live in, when a soldier can't return home from a deployment for even a short amount of time, and be treated like shit.

I have a feeling there's more to the story than what is told.

Oh god cry me a river. I can't think of an instance where a hotel here would or could spot a soldier in civil...Why is there no sentence in there about why he showed his soldiers ID?

There is truely something fishy in that article.

Many hotels make a copy of your ID before you check in....He was either a total asshole and the staff told him to piss off and leave or the person behind the counter was some little dumb leftist spoiled elitist bitch and wanted to make a point about her feelings on the war.

Oh Woking? I live in Woking, I will be paying the metro hotel a little vist. Woking is full of Arabs and asians, this is the bloody likely hood as to why he was rejected. The army here get mocked or even attacked on the lefty and immigrant side for the war in Iraq, which means they are not aloud to wear their uniforms outside.
