This site may be old news to many, but I just came across RealMilitaryFlix for the first time. Goldmine! It has footage from WW1 right through to the current escapades. In the WW2 section can be found hours of newsreels, training films, raw footage and also more modern documentaries, all stuff I've never seen before.

A few good links:

Luftwaffe gun cam footage

Raw color footage of US forces in North Africa

Training film - Controlling POWs Raw footage from a combat cameraman - D-Day through to breakout

This one's great - Infantry weapons and their effect (2 parts).

Training film showcasing the entire US Army arsenal in action: Molotovs vs tanks, bazooka vs railway tracks, WP vs infantry, 37mm AT gun vs pillbox, BAR vs Stuka, disabling PAKs with incendiary grenades, penetrating concrete walls with .30cal AP rifle ammo...

If this has some different clips than YouTube I will be 1) ecstatically happy, and 2) very surprised. We've looked for gun cam sites with new inventory before with little luck (see this thread, "Anyone Know Any Gun Camera Sites?"). I took a quick glance at the very first Luftwaffe gun came vid (#145 ), and it is the same old clip that has been ul'd 4-5 times at YouTube (begins with an attack on a Liberator from 1 o'clock and just barely above). I'll explore.

Can you tell if this supposed to be 100% free, Moleman, or is this page a come-on for a for-pay site?

Same vids, but the quality is better. So far nothing new though.

*edit* Ah, but wait! In the last 2-3 minutes of the first vid I saw some clips I've never seen before, including 2 of attacks on B-24s which were at <1000 feet altitude.

I've given the site a pretty fair run through, and my feeling is, "Meh".

Jesus wept, what do you want from me, Himmler's private 'Bavarian-bierkeller-wenches-in-lederhosen' pr0n stash? Don't answer that.

Personally I've not seen any of this stuff before. Looky:

Jury-rigging AP mines onto M4 tanks in the field to protect from Japanese infantry attacks (halfway through)

Raw footage of 507th PIR on June 18th, 1944

Russian one-man casualty carrying device

Beach obstacle training film
