Mr. FlyGuy has gotten a job at a bakery. At the bakery I see many people of all sizes, colors, sexuality and race. I take orders, fill boxes, make some pastries, bitch endlessly at some people, and sometimes make people laugh.

I hate these people: "My order costs 3.45 so I think I will charge it." "My order costs 34.67 I will pay with a 50.00$ bill then I will count out exact change." "Here's your change, ma'am. *Lady holds out change purse*." "That costs 3.75." "Oh, last time I was here it cost 3.50." "I'll take that" *points*. "Which one?" "I said I want that." IF YOU ARE GOING TO POINT AT SOMETHING ON THE LOWER SHELF BEND YOURSELF OVER AND POINT. I CANNOT SEE WHAT YOU WANT. "When was that cookie made."

Thank you. That is all.

Common Sense does no longer exist unfortunately.

Its just like the Engineers that didn't use their heads, and decided to build a city in a hole below sea level, and then, they are surprised when a hurricane turns New Orleans into Atlantis.

Honestly it makes about as much sense as building a building upside down, or putting your shoes on backwards.

So when you give back change, do you place the coins into the palm of the customers hands then the bills into the same hand? Or do you hold the short end of the bills, long edges curled upwards, with the coins nestled safely on top of the bills? Choose wisely.

Nestled atop, with the money folded upward so the coin do not fail out. Then the money will fold out onto the person's hand.

You don't really get to hate everyone untill you've been retail or a waiter/bus boy at a fast food joint. "Well, it's 9:50 PM on the coldest night of the year, I better round up the family and go get a pizza! The people who clean up after me don't want to drive home in this weather anyway!"

Everyone should have a job in retail sales when they are young - it is invaluable to learn through first-hand experience that a distressingly large segment of our society labors under the burden of bone-deep stupidity.

But more importantly, it is a wonderful motivator to be successful in future studies or training so as to avoid a return to the retail sales field. ;)
