No, I did.

Lowering the phase and speaking word for word is somewhat reasonable since people might recognize individual words (them knowing a word ro two in said language or it sounding familiar to an other/their own language to some extend). Together with gestures and pointing at thinks it might be somewhat fruitfull.

Not it you have no clue how to speak in Spanish, it isn't.

Mr. Pedantic;4592230No, I did.

I was talking about a language barrier in general and simular sounding or related words.

Oh and I speak three words of SPanish or so (used to know several lines during half a year of sucky Spanish classes but as with my French it all went down the drain).

Words like yes/ja/da/no/non/neen/nein/auto/stoel/stool/... what not. And don't forget hand gestures. Won't let you go into poltical debates but may just get you some food at a foreign shop or restaurant. =p

FlyGuy45;4576233Mr. FlyGuy has gotten a job at a bakery. At the bakery I see many people of all sizes, colors, sexuality and race. I take orders, fill boxes, make some pastries, bitch endlessly at some people, and sometimes make people laugh.

I hate these people: "My order costs 3.45 so I think I will charge it." "My order costs 34.67 I will pay with a 50.00$ bill then I will count out exact change." "Here's your change, ma'am. *Lady holds out change purse*." "That costs 3.75." "Oh, last time I was here it cost 3.50." "I'll take that" *points*. "Which one?" "I said I want that." IF YOU ARE GOING TO POINT AT SOMETHING ON THE LOWER SHELF BEND YOURSELF OVER AND POINT. I CANNOT SEE WHAT YOU WANT. "When was that cookie made." Thank you. That is all.

You might find soulmates here: www.spreekillers.org/

I got bandwidth limit warning. I wonder if it's because of our latest daffodil.

que?

If it takes more than a sentence to say, then it takes more than three words to say it. Even with hand gestures.
