Found an interesting military affairs link index at the Journal of Military History: Links

A site which has exhibits of D-Day flyover recon shots of areas of British/Canadian interest, such as Pegasus Bridge (including the Horsas on the ground), landings on Gold and Juno and assaults on related strongpoints: The Aerial Reconnaisance Archives

And a UK map-selling site which has made posters of some recon flyovers and offers then for sale, such as Omaha, Gold and Juno and related maps as well: Global Mapping Ltd ..D-Day Images

Some of you may find them useful.

The very same site that went down the day it was launched due to high traffic and never really seemed to have been re-opend?

I'm still waiting to browse for areals over the Netherlands etc. :(
