Yeah you know in the other thread where lobo posted the Biden/Palin parody? I did love that, I thought it was hilarious. In fact, I watched the entire first 30 minutes and they had me dying... BIDEN STYLE! I almost thought SNL had it together again. Sometimes they are awesome sometimes awful. But after 30 years, youre gonna have some ups and downs... Anywho. I also thought the Pelosi skit was fantastic, you know the one where they blame themselves for the start of the financial mess... well someone has disagreed. And while everything else is still available for your consumption... the Pelosi skit is getting yanked off of sites as we speak, first and formost, the SNL site itself. I mean ok, someones pissed. Does the slant need to be THAT obvious? Leave it up and keep hammering away at the other things. I was laughing at just about everything that night. It was great comedy. This little development might even be funnier... Read the comments... NBC.com > Saturday Night Live The skit itself... http://msunderestimated.com/SNLBailoutSkit.wmv

Well, I had thought Pelosi et al. had done this too. But it might have been muckety-mucks in the private sector who screamed "slander!". Hulu, NBC Pull SNL Skit - Advertising Age - Adages

*edit* It was pulled off YouTube too. But that's no surprise: if Hitler was around today to complain about the Der Untergang clips, YT couldn't pull them fast enough. The problem with becoming a corporate giant is that you become a target for financial attack litigation, and it makes you cowardly.

What really bugs me... is that it was funny!!! SNL was ripping on absolutely everybody that night. It was great! I didnt get Fey's Palin the week prior but she must have worked on it. She had me dying... Pelosi skit was hilarious as well... who cares about the politics man... ITS SATURDAY NIGHT!!!

Hey, isn't there something called the "Streisand Effect" that should will take effect if they keep trying to hide this clip? Hehe silly wabbits, censorship is for dolts.

hmm, did side by side comparison and they only cut a tiny bit out referencing "corrupt activities" and removed the "People who should be shot" subtitle.

Man talk about drawing attention to something you wanted to squash!!! But an edited version is even worse than pulling it entirely. Now theyve gone from having 50% backbone to 0%. If they were to pull it, entirely, maybe they can fight back and say they were deprived of revenue. They are a pretty powerful group too...

Flyboy nailed it with the "Streisand Effect". These internets are tricky: the more you try to ban something the more it gets out there.
