nope, heiniken isn't good. amstel beer is better !!!
Großadmiral DönitzRum is even better, coconut rum. I don't like the taste of wiskey and wine yet but I will have to get used to those eventually too I guess.
Thats unatural, I liked whiskey and wine by the age of 10
Agree that heiniken is the number one export, but I dont think its as good as some other dutch beers, In my opinion Grolsch is better. Amstel = 020 me as a rotterdamer dont drink that shit, (j/k its oke)
Only Americans think Heineken is a good beer, its like nats p*ss,the best lagers are Becks, kronenberg 1666,Grolsch,Coors (at a push) and if your a lady Budweiser!
oh and Stella Artois (wife beater)
"Can i offer you some South African wine sir?,or some frothy lager"?
"Nah!,give us the usual"
"Very good sir,10 pints of wife beater and a pub sized bottle of wreck the house comming up Sir"!
Wanna go Double Dutch?
9th December 2003
FuzzyBunnyA friend of mine was on a strategy consulting project for Heineken. They worked on-site.
That whole team was alcoholic when the project ended, I'm not even joking.
Do they still only serve beer in those ridiculous little tiny glasses in Holland? WTF is up with that?
We have all shapes and sizes, from miature glasses to 0,5 liter pints and more. :) The default glass is 0,28 centi liter I beleive, which means you get just as much alcohol in you as a glass of wine or shot of gin (if you are using the correct glass and fill it the way it should be filled).
The no 1 export was OIL in the Dutch East Indies days.about 60 or so years ago. now I think flowers are the top overseas seller. OH and POT too I guess...
Hertog Jan or an nice Belgium kriek Lambiek, Wieckse Witte and surely a Guinnes.
WTF? Heinken is dutch??? I thought it was german or till russian! (that red star mean something to you?)
Sgt.kar98WTF? Heinken is dutch??? I thought it was german or till russian! (that red star mean something to you?)
He I know a funny story regarding that star, it symbolizes the elements + quality and has been used since halfway the 19th century. But during the cold war the red star was not in the company logo, it got changed to a white star with a red border so people wouldn't associate it with communism.
I don't like Heineken though, my favourite normal Dutch beer is Dommelsch but I mostly drink Jupiler which is a Belgian beer.
