Don't worry about system requirements, Source is the least requiring of all the "top engines" tehre are for PC games. HL2 still can be played on Dx7 video cards, you just have to scale down th graphics settings. As for the package, Orange Box is supposed to be released in the end of September this year, together with Valve's newest upcoming games (Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2). However it won't include original Half-Life. The edition you linked us to is the best choice for now, I guess. It contains the entire SP experience so far. You can get the Black Box (HL2: Ep2 + Portal + TF2) when it is released, so you won't be buying anything twice. As for the multiplayer, there's alot to choose from, take a look at my account.:p

Installed? No, but other than that look again.;) I barely have the habit of playing multi player games, and now as I barely play any games at all, there was no point in installing it. Also, that doesn't mean I play CS: S, I'm not sure why I'm keeping it too, realy.:p
HE HAS FH2 ON HIS PULPIT!!! INSTALLED!!!!!!!!!LOOOOOOOKKK!!!! lol (dam' betatesters)
'LIGHTNING [NL;3652235']He does...
I didn't look at the picture enough
I just played the HL2 demo. It was awesome! It was kinda scary though. Particularly the Headcrab Zombies and those jumpy things that spaz alot and look like humans without skin and climbed everywhere and get all in your face.
Don't worry, the part which you've seen in the demo was the scariest section in the entire serie. The locations are very varried and basically change compleately in every chapter so we have the eastern city, canals, sewers, costal road, tunnels, indoor enviroments, wastelands, etc... And that's the hl2 only. Oh also, after playing through Half-Life: Source go for this little thingie - chapter that didn't make into the original game but was released year after. You'll also get to see how the graphics looked in the very original version.
