Seems there is a new diet that is becoming all the rage. Read about this today in the New York Times. Your thoughts?

It seems like a variation of the Atkins diet. The biochemistry behind this seems sound, from what I can remember. However, the main problem I can see is people getting a lot more fat, especially saturated fat, in their diet because of a greater consumption of meats due to the need for an increased protein intake.

Veer. I read once that appendicitis is almost non-existent in third world countries. The reason being, squatting squeezes the appendix and keeps it closed during a poop. For us toilet users, it stays open and pushing can cause the exact opposite effect and push matter into the appendix. I had mine removed at age 5!!!

The cavemen also fast for long periods of time, do strenuous exercises to simulate hunting (which often mark the end of a fast, simulating a good hunt), and also give blood to simulate the cavemen generally missing a pint or two. And remember, no food before the invention of agriculture.

Lol, you must have spent the first 4 and a bit years of your life busting out some major dookie's. Wow major surgery at 5 that must have been kind of traumatic. i had mine (appendectomy) taken out at age 20 and it still bugs me so I wonder if you get abdominal strains from the missing tissue or did your body recuperate better due to the surgery occuring at such a young age? my self imposed PC hiatus is over, happy new years to the FH crew... hope you are all enjoying the new Fh2 update and that you have all voted in the ModDB awards.

hey man, wrt your second to last response... why are you not enjoying the game? I haven't put a ton of time in yet but I personally like the 3p sounds and the wide open spaces alot. On the negative, i wonder which server admins need to get a rogered in order to play a map from North Africa that isn't Giarabub or Fall of Tobruk.

Because for the first couple of hours on release night my ping was 500ms, then I got a couple of decent rounds in, then I went back to Uni but left all the wires for my PC at home, then when I finally got back on the servers, no one seems to be playing 2.25 maps when I'm on.

Maybe I'm just impatient to get my hands on the stuff for the next patch. Hopefully there will be some epic stuff coming your way in 2.3.

I don't know about such a diet, a cavemen diet would also need a cavemen life. I don't think an office job helps with that, except if you start hunting for coffee or something.

Off-Topic in top shape, after 5 posts from cavemen food to FH2.25 :P

Anyway, happy newyear to you too Sheik.
