Medal of Honor: Airborne, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare?

Now hold on. I know CoD is leaving the whole WWII era, but CoD for its first few titles were in direct competition with franchises like MoH and BiA.

Personally, I'm psyched for Airborne. You'll be able to control exactly (well, as long as you know what you're doing ) where you land when you jump out the the plane, making Airborne pretty revolutionary. New AI is included of course because of the fact of you being able to land behind a normal scripted enemy and knock them in the back of the head. They'll adapt to you, which will make you think about what you're doing.

BiA of course has been known for more tactical based play and realism (you can take like what, 5 hits from a SMG?). Plus, they're going to include cool features like environments with more destructibility.

CoD is going to have of its own bells and whistles like a nice 60 frames per second, as well as hand drawn and painted backrounds imported into the game.

I've always liked CoD because of the way they get the blood pumping. Realism be danmed, they make an intense and exciting game that always leaves with a sense of accomplishment after you've repelled the last conterattack. Blown up that last stronghold, or are planting a flag on the Reich Stag.

I can only hope that feeling makes the leap from Shermans to Abrams.

Honestly, I'm hoping Activision makes a Wiimake collection of CoD Finest Hour and CoD Big Red One featuring CoD 3 Wii controls and online multiplayer that was missing from the GCN versions. I like the Wiimote FPS controls, but I simply cannot tolerate the dual analog system of the other consoles, even if they had online multplayer.

Is it really revolutionary? or is it just team deathmach or deathmatch with bots?! ;p You know UT 2004 was almost the same in some maps.It doesn't sound revolutionary comparing to games overall, maybe comparing to all MOH series.

Parajumping in Americas army is very realistic aswell, unfortunately there are few maps with that feature. But its pretty fun and you can control your decent quite realistically with good wind modeling. TBH im mostly waiting for FH, i liked COD but it was to linear and i really want to play online against people. I really cant say that any game "in the works" is gonna have all im looking for.

Yeah I'd say it's pretty revolutionary. In what other FPS do you get to decide exactly where you start out the game? Battle lines form depending on where you land. Rooftops, towers, aqueducts, bunker tops, alleyways, crashing into windows it's all fair game. It gives you pretty much limitless different possibilities. Watch the "Start Anywhere" or "Fight Anywhere" trailers on the MoH Airborne Main website. Of course this is only for (at least according to what the MoH community knows) only for the SP mode.

I really don't have a clue how EA is going to balance the fact that Americans are going to be popping from the sky from planes landing anywhere while Germans have to spawn on the ground in MP though. It'd be pretty fun though. Germans on the ground would just have to be on that much more alert and have to have constant partrols and watches in certain areas. I also don't know how they're going to compensate for the fact that Germans could probably shoot Americans while they're in the air.

It's going to be kerblazing :)

Im really waiting for Hells highway cuz it's just so damn awesome!!For me it's very realistic that you can command your team, you fly away(with animations!) when a bomb/grenade blows up in front of you, gestures and body movements are awesome.

Theses 2 trailers prove that it's gonna be an awesome game!

I just cant wait to see how the MP looks like!

CoD4 for me. I'm impressed by the plot, and I love the cinematics of the games. It's the one series where I like atrocious realism.
